↳ endless love

My first love was everything, all at once. The kind you never fall back from, never try to, never want to. A love so big, so strong, it never dies, never fades, never loses it’s electricity. The kind of love you fight for, the kind of boy you fight for.

Emily Browning and Belle & Sebastian as God Help the Girl - God Help the Girl (x)

"She came from a background where nothing was ever good enough. And that was something that weighed heavy on her. But in our house together, it was a sense of just trying stuff and allowing each other to fail and to be excited about things. That was liberating for her. It was exciting to see her grow and both of us grow and change together. But that’s also the hard part: growing without growing apart or changing without it scaring the other person. The way he wanted to stylise it was to concentrate on the silhouette of each character and to take an 1870s silhouette, but simplify the surface details so that it really had the architectural simplicity of 50s couture. What I had to do immediately was look at the 1870s shape then strip away all the surface detail and just be left with that pure shape." [x]

Let me go back to him. It is my only wish. My only desire.

Let me go back to him. It is my only wish. My only desire.

Children believe what we tell them. They have complete faith in us. They believe that a rose plucked from a garden can plunge a family into conflict. They believe that the hands of a human beast will smoke when he slays a victim, and that this will cause the beast shame when a young maiden takes up residence in his home. They believe a thousand other simple things. I ask of you a little of this childlike simplicity, and, to bring us luck, let me speak four truly magic words, childhood’s open sesame: “Once upon a time…”
